Dachshund

Dachshunds are small, "long and low" dogs known as "wiener dogs" or "hot dogs," originally bred in Germany to hunt badgers. They have short, muscular legs, long bodies, and floppy ears. Their personality is courageous, lively, and loyal but also independent and sometimes stubborn, making them good companions but challenging to train. Dachshunds come in standard and miniature sizes and smooth, longhaired, or wirehaired coat types.
